Dozens of people have lost their lives, and 138 others have been rescued after the roof of a well-known venue in the Dominican Republic catastrophically collapsed during a live concert.
The disaster struck without warning as hundreds of attendees gathered to enjoy what should have been a night of celebration at one of Santo Domingo's most popular nightspots.
